Visitors can walk over 100 acres of privately owned farmland (subject to seasonal farming requirements), and a wealth of lovely countryside is within half an hour drive or less, e.g. Lakes Vyrnwy and Bala, Pistyll Rhaeadr (highest waterfall in Wales), Powis Castle and the unspoilt Berwyn range, as well as golf courses and many other activities. Within an hour you can reach Betws-y-Coed (Snowdonia National Park), Chester, Llangollen or Shrewsbury.

Stable accommodation available for up to two horses (must carry own third party insurance and have updated vaccination) - many good rides in the area.

Fishing on most of the Tanat is owned by a private club, which does not issue day tickets; however a limited number of opportunities (brown trout and grayling - fly only) may be available to experienced fishers by arrangement - please contact the owner before booking if this may be a requirement.

Half-hour drive from nearest railway station, 400 metres from the road, local buses not very frequent: a car is strongly advised.
